Serrano Ham 150 Reserva

New "Serrano Ham Reserva 150" - Limited Edition

All good things come to those who wait - the serrano ham 150 (named so as there are only 150 available) will be available in November 2008 in time for the festive season.

What is the Serrano Ham 150?

A limited edition Jamon Serrano from the "La Carniceria de Julian" - the Orce based family butchers who also manufactures to order the acclaimed "Fire Chorizo"

Why is this ham so special?

Orce Serrano Hams commissioned the 150 hams back in April 2008 (already authentic bodega hams), the hams have hung in Julian's curing house since then, carefully turned and tended to reach a perfect "reserva" classification by OCT/NOV 2008

The Jamon 150 will retail for around the 119.00gbp mark and includes the same Picante Chorizos from Julian himself as a complimentary gift for the lucky customers. The ham also comes with olive oil and sherry vinegar samples as well as a wooden charcuterie board to tempt the connoisseur with an array of authentic flavours.

Available Nov 1st 2008.

3 tablespoons olive oil
4 Eggs

1. Place the asparagus to a saucepan of boiling water and cook until tender - about 6-8 minutes.

2. Pour the olive oil into a hot frying pan over a medium heat. Fry the eggs until completely set.

3. Lay the ham on two serving plates, and arrange the boiled asparagus and fried eggs on top. Grate a little Spanish cheese over the top to add an alternative twist and pour over some more olive oil.
